Xbox Game Pass subscribers have until the end of the month to finish eight games in the library. According to Vandal, LevelUp and games.gg, which cite lists published by GameSpot and TheGamer, the titles leave the service on October 31 on console, PC and cloud. Microsoft has not posted the list on Xbox Wire, its official blog; these notices usually show up in the service's “Leaving soon” section.

The games leaving

  • LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
  • Deep Rock Galactic
  • Wartales
  • Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
  • Day of the Tentacle Remastered
  • Full Throttle Remastered
  • Wildgate
  • Dead Static Drive

Your progress is saved: if you buy the game later on the same platform, you can usually pick up where you left off, but it is worth checking first, especially on PC.

What it means

This wave brings October to 17 removals in total, according to games.gg; the first batch left on October 15. Rotation is normal on Game Pass, which licenses many third-party games for limited periods.

The most notable departures are Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle, LucasArts classics remastered by Double Fine, the studio that split from Xbox Game Studios this year. Several outlets connect the two, but, as Vandal notes, Microsoft has not confirmed the reason. For groups, the bigger loss is Deep Rock Galactic, the four-player co-op space mining game. The end-of-month additions to the library have not been officially announced yet.
