GTA 6 gets its launch trailer, and Justice are composing the game's original score
Rockstar released the final trailer before the November 19 launch, featuring a new Justice single with Tame Impala and SZA.
Rockstar Games released the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer on Thursday, October 15, the last one before the game arrives on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The video came with news that matters to electronic music fans too: French duo Justice are composing the game's original score.
The trailer debuts “Flower in a Hurricane”, a Justice single featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar describes the duo as the game's “original score composers”, and the official GTA VI music page now lists an “Official Score by Justice”.
A 34-track album on launch day
The song is also part of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a collection of 34 original tracks out on November 19 alongside the game, on digital, CD and vinyl. Before Justice, Rockstar had already shared singles from Yung Lean (with Future and Metro Boomin), Travis Scott, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso with PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy, Morgan Wallen, Fuerza Regida, Rauw Alejandro, Cardi B and Keith Richards.
It is a big moment for Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, one of the best-known names in French electronic music since “D.A.N.C.E.”: scoring the year's most anticipated game puts them in front of an audience far larger than any club crowd.
How we got here
GTA 6 was revealed in December 2023 with a 2025 target. It slipped first to May 26, 2026 and then to November 19, 2026, the current date. The story is set in the fictional state of Leonida, inspired by Florida, follows the duo Lucia and Jason and marks the return of Vice City.
Pre-orders are open, linked from the game's official site. Rockstar has not announced a PC version, so for now GTA 6 is coming only to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, on the same November 19 date worldwide.
